Celebrating Alliance’s 15 year anniversary!
On the 5th of April, Alliance Airlines celebrated its 15 year anniversary. Building on what began as a small airline, with just two aircraft and one contract in Queensland, Alliance now boasts a fleet of over 30 aircraft, employs over 400 staff and provides air charter services throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and South East Asia.
Our company has many achievements and accomplishments of which we are proud including:
- Industry leading on time performance that is consistently above 95%;
- Impeccable safety record, which includes IOSA Certification, BARS Gold and Wyvern Accreditation;
- Establishment of bases in Adelaide, Auckland, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth and Townsville;
- Establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary in Slovakia to expand on our aviation services offering
- Operation of services on behalf of all of Australia’s major airlines; and
- Assisting in the growth of Fokker jet aircraft in the region from Alliance’s two in 2002 to over 60 aircraft today.
These milestones and accomplishments would not have been achieved and maintained if it was not for our staff’s great commitment and loyalty over these 15 years. Testament to this is that of our 400 plus staff, 42 have been with us either since 5 April 2002 or since each of our regional offices commenced operations.
