Airport Check-in Requirements
All Alliance Airlines flights close 30 minutes prior to departures.
When checking in to an Alliance Airlines flight you must produce photographic identification. Infants 0 – 2 years of age do not require photographic identification. Children 3 years and older travelling must have one of the following items Birth Certificate, Passport, student identification or a Medicare Card showing the child’s name.
Baggage Requirements
Checked baggage will be delivered to bearer of the baggage check.
Checked Baggage Limits
The total linear dimensions (i.e. Length plus Width plus Height) of any item of baggage must not exceed 158cm. Maximum acceptable weight of any single item is 32kg. Any item of baggage exceeding the size or weight limit will not be accepted at passenger check-in.
Free Checked Baggage Allowance
In addition to approved cabin baggage, each Passenger occupying a paid seat travelling on Alliance Airlines domestic or international services is entitled to the following free baggage allowances:
- F100 Aircraft - Economy Class 20kg
- F70 Aircraft - Economy Class 20kg
- F50 Aircraft - Economy Class 20kg
Excess Baggage
Charges apply for any weight in excess of the Alliance Airlines free baggage allowance. The rates are $15 per kilogram.
Excess Baggage Carriage Restrictions
Excess baggage is carried subject to space availability and hence may not be carried on the same service as You. Excess baggage is only carried to the airport specified on the Alliance Airlines baggage tag. You are responsible for collection of excess baggage and/or any other related delivery expenses.
Excess Baggage Limit
Total baggage exceeding 100kg will not be accepted as excess baggage. Such consignments must be processed at a Cargo outlet at the applicable cargo rate.
Free Baggage Entitlements When Connecting to Another Carrier
When connecting with an International carrier's services, passengers holding a ticket for international carriage (being for Carriage between two or more countries) are entitled to the IATA standard checked baggage allowance (weight system), in respect to the Alliance component of the itinerary. Baggage in excess of the Alliance weight allowance up to the IATA standard checked baggage allowance is carried free of charge subject to space availability and hence may not be carried on the same service as the passenger.
Cabin Baggage
Each fare paying Passenger is entitled to carry on board (unless We direct such be stowed in the aircraft hold) one piece of baggage not exceeding depth 23cm, height 34cm and length 48cm; and not exceeding a total weight of 5kg.
Valuable Items
We will not be liable for loss damage to or delay in the delivery of delicate, brittle, fragile or perishable items, money, jewellery, precious metals, securities, passports, title deeds, artefacts, manuscripts or other valuables (including but not limited to cameras, videos, laptops and other electronic equipment) which are included in Your checked baggage whether with or without Our knowledge.
Valuable items should be carried on your person or in your carry-on baggage and under Your care. If the aforementioned items are checked in as baggage, You agree that those items shall be at their own risk and shall indemnify and hold Us harmless for any loss in respect thereof.
