Unaccompanied Minors


Alliance Airlines has a duty of care for Unaccompanied Minors checked in for Alliance services. An Unaccompanied Minor is a child aged between 5 and 11 years of age (inclusive), travelling without the supervision of a customer 15 years of age or over.

An Unaccompanied Minor Form is to be completed by the adult who accompanies the child at check-in. A separate form is required for each child, even if they are from the same family. All sections of this form must be completed in full.

Children under the age of 5 years can only travel if accompanied by an adult aged 15 years or older. Young adults 12 to 14 years of age (inclusive), may travel with Unaccompanied Minor status if requested by their parent or guardian.
