Founded on the passion of aviation enthusiasts who saw an opportunity to develop a specifically defined service for the resources industry.
Alliance’s success has been attributed to being one of the first operators to identify the need to provide safe, efficient and reliable aircraft charter services for workers in the resources industry, and therefore provide a cost effective alternative to meet the resources industry employment needs. Alliance’s commitment to our clients continues to be to provide excellent operational performance and services that minimise disruptions to production schedules.
Alliance commenced operations focused on the fly in, fly out resources sector winning several resource contracts. Our reputation was driven by exceptional reliability and operational performance standards which led to larger projects. Today Alliance has grown into the largest national air charter operator for the resources industry in Australia. This achievement was the result of providing a unique service that had not previously been on offer, and expanding our aircraft fleet in size, and capacity, allowing us to meet additional requests efficiently.
Opportunities to provide unique aircraft charter travel experiences for group travel from all walks of life, from school sporting squads and their entourages, to government conference teams and corporate event delegates – and to do so in a way that simply no other airline could. From sending 100 school children to an interstate sporting event with their very own schedule and itinerary, to providing an aircraft from which a national radio station could be broadcast– if we can do it, we will.
Today, Alliance Airlines is the leading FIFO air charter operator in Australia, and continues to be recognised as a leading aviation professional, providing tailored and customised group travel and individual experiences through the provision of adhoc charter services. Our team, from ground staff, to flight attendants, to managers and directors all keep a down-to-earth philosophy of working towards a common goal – to get on with the job, and continue to create safer and enjoyable travel experiences for our customers. Regardless of the type of service undertaken by Alliance Airlines, we have made a commitment to never become an airline that is hampered by layers of unnecessary process.
Alliance has obtained full compliance with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulatory standards, and was the first Australian airline to be accredited with Gold Standard Flight Safety Foundation Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS), in addition to successfully completing the Wyvern Wingman and Achilles audits.
