The Aerospace Gateway Project is a State government initiative which enables co-operation between the Aviation Industry and schools across the state. There are 18 schools involved and Alliance has committed to become an active industry supporter of this project across all of the participating schools. Additionally, Alliance is partnering with Iona College providing their students and teachers with an opportunity for work experience across all departments, facility tours, teacher development, career pathway advice and practical classroom activities to name a few. Our very own Dimitri Lucchi was a successful student through Iona’s inaugural program in 2008. We are very excited about the Project and the possibilities it brings for Alliance and for the students involved.
